I want to offer flexible Norwegian courses in Bergen and online. Some courses are for those who are beginners, other courses are aimed at those who want to become even better at communicating in Norwegian, orally and in writing.

The courses take place in small groups or one-to-one. I adapt the teaching to the individual's needs and wishes.

The key word is communication! We learn a language because we want to communicate, at work, with family, with friends or in other contexts.

I have lived and worked in many places and met many different students. It is always interesting to discover how students find motivation to learn the language in their new country, and how they find the confidence to express themselves.

I have extensive experience as a teacher of Norwegian, German and theatre. Among many other things, I have studied Norwegian as a second language. I have also worked as an editor for textbooks in Norwegian. And then I speak English and German and a little more.

As recently as 2023, my city became Bergen. This means that I do not speak "Bergenian", but almost Bokmål or "Oslo dialect".

In group courses, I use a textbook as a basis, which I supplement with various resources, games and activities.

In other courses, I arrange different materials that we agree to use, such as literature, texts from the media and more. Welcome!
